Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, glaucoma and phaco surgeon, graduated (MBBS) from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College in 1990. He obtained his MS (Eye) in 2007, from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor & Head of the department (Eye) at Sheikh Hasina Medical College, Tangail & Consultant Eye Specialist, Glaucoma and Phaco Surgeon at Bangladesh Eye Hospital. He was an Ex-Consultant Eye Specialist and surgeon at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, Dhaka 1212 and Ex Consultant & Eye specialist at Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Eye Institute & Hospital, Gopalganj.

Dr. Azad, an esteemed ophthalmologist with a specialization in phaco surgery and glaucoma. As an Assistant Professor & Head of the Department (Eye) at Sheikh Hasina Medical College Tangail, Dr. Azad brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of ophthalmology.
